Final Game

The year is winding down and we are getting ready to say goodbye to school & soccer. This is part of the 5th grade legacy garden Stephan's class planted at school. They also buried a time capsule. It's hard to believe the year went by so fast and that Stephan only has three more days of grade school! His class is having a fun end to the year. They went on a class bike ride and will spend most of next week celebrating.

Today was Stephan's last soccer game. While it was in the 80's and sunny yesterday, you can see from Norah's coat and hat that today was not ideal soccer game weather! Dark clouds hovered above, but the rain held out until seconds after the game. Norah LOVES to be at the games and cheer for her brother. She gave us a good workout all season as we chased after her along the sidelines.

We're wrapped up under a blanket! Brrr....

Giving five after a hard fought game. Stephan's team came back from a 3-1 score to tie the game with two goals in the last minute & a half. They lost in the final shoot out, but it was not for a lack of effort. This was their only regular season loss & it was one of the most fun games to watch! They had no subs and they fought with everything they had until the very end. We are so proud of you, buddy!
