I still have not solved my camera difficulties. Why? Well, in part because while I waited for my new cord, I was convinced I could make my card work in the computer. It didn't. And now, it's stuck. Sigh...
Steve only has five days left of 7th grade! I can hardly believe it. He is quickly approaching 5'10. He quit soccer this spring to focus on just golf, but after being asked to help his old team during a tournament, he is hooked again for now. He actually helped two teams that weekend & played five games in two days. (Phew! That makes me tired just thinking about it.) He has two more games this weekend before the final one next week. And don't worry, he crams in a lot of golf time. He is really into seeing movies with his friends. I think that may become a favorite weekend activity, which is great for us because there is a lot that he wants to see that we do not! :) It's just weird for me that he is old enough that we can drop him off at the theater. Steve also finished confirmation for the year. He has such a sweet teacher who genuinely loves teenagers.
Norah is as feisty and jolly as ever. She is thankful for warm weather because that means more swing time. She can pump so well and gets herself really high. I think she would swing for hours if she could. She also newly loves jump rope. The warm weather has been so much fun this week. With the end of school in sight, Steve has barely had any homework. The past two nights they have blown bubbles & played "soccer team" outside after dinner. Norah pretends she is Angelina from his soccer team. (Angelina's dad also owns one of our favorite places in Cedarburg to stop for a quick bite, smoothie, or drink.) The one thing I don't love....bugs. The three bites Norah got on Monday were the size of half dollars on Tuesday morning!
